A little update on Beeb 💗

We wanted to share a small update on Beeb and also give everyone a better idea of where things stand, while continuing to respect her privacy.

Beeb recently completed her first round of radiation therapy, and we are so thankful to say that she has benefited greatly from the radiation, as well as the additional therapies and supportive care Kira and her family have been using alongside her radiation treatments. We also want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has already donated and helped make it possible for Kira and her family to purchase some of these additional therapies and supportive items for Beeb. ❤️

Kira and her family are working closely with her medical team and have also been doing extensive research and working with an integrative oncologist to explore every option available to her. They are looking into additional treatment possibilities, including options outside of the area.

There are also significant costs associated with exploring these options and supporting her care. Some of the expenses they are facing include:

• Peptides: approximately $1,900

• Supplements: approximately $500/month

• Functional medicine: approximately $1,000/month

• Integrative care: approximately $750

• Additional supportive treatments: approximately $300–$500

• Specialized therapy equipment: approximately $15,000

• Potential clinical trial: approximately $40,000

These numbers are just a snapshot of the financial reality they are facing and do not include the many other expenses that come with ongoing treatment, travel, appointments, and care.

There are a lot of moving pieces right now, and Kira and her family are doing everything they can to make informed decisions and give Beeb every possible opportunity. ❤️

They also have a very special Make-A-Wish trip coming up soon — something we hope will give them precious time together to make beautiful memories in the middle of an incredibly difficult season.
